To help insure safe, reliable childcare, Colorado Nanny, Inc. provides an extensive placement screening process which includes: telephone interviews, in-depth application, in-person interviews for all permanent placements, reference checks and a formal background investigation.

Background checks are essential to insure that a candidate will be a safe childcare provider. Colorado Nanny's sister company, Childcare Background Research Corporation is exclusively focused on providing background checks for childcare providers.  Our industry leading search includes:

• National/State/County Criminal Checks
• Sex Offender Registry
• Social Security Trace
• DMV (driving report)
• Education Verification
• Credit

Families receive documentation on interviews and reference checks in advance of each nanny candidate interview. Reference summaries include contact names and telephone numbers. A complete background investigation document will also be provided prior to the nanny’s formal employment.
