Job Information

Experience Required

Colorado Nanny, Inc. has built its reputation by placing nannies who love children with families who appreciate and respect their nannies. This is our exclusive focus and passion. To be considered for a nanny job, you must:

  • Be at least 18 year old
  • Be legal to work in the U.S.
  • Have a High School or equivalent education
  • Have a car you can bring to work each day, have automobile insurance and a good driving record
  • Have at least 2 years of paid or volunteer childcare work experience (outside of friends and family) that can be referenced.
  • Be able to make a one year commitment for a permanent nanny job.

Responsibilities and tasks

A nanny's primary responsibility is to focus on the well being of the child. In your job you will be responsible for only child-related chores and very light housekeeping, such as tidying up the kitchen. Most families generally have one or two children with ages ranging from 3 months to 5 years. The nanny is responsible for all the tasks the parent would be taking care of if they were able to be home with the child.

Positions, salaries and hours

Full-time nannies are typically salaried. These salaries are normally calculated by using a pay range of $10 to $15 dollars per hour times the quantity of work hours. The hourly rate should be determined by the number of children, duties, education and experience of the nanny. We have a very high demand for part-time nannies; the hourly pay range is $11-$16/hour. The majority of our nanny positions include 40-50 hours per week.

Nanny Position Types:

Permanent Placement:: Nanny will commit to working required hours for  a full year of service.

Summer Placement: Nanny will commit to working required hours for summer childcare.

Temporary Placement: Nanny will work on an as needed basis. This can include evening/weekend babysitting or a longer engagement with part or full time hours.
