We Only Work with Trusted Nannies

Colorado Nanny only works with high caliber nannies who have two or more years of professional experience such as nanny, daycare and teaching experience. Our well-proven screening process recruits for candidates that love children and have excellent work references.

With over two decades of experience placing nannies throughout the state of Colorado, we have developed a comprehensive system for interviewing, reference checking and completing an extensive background check so families can be sure of their childcare choice.

Colorado nanny proudly serves cities throughout Colorado’s front range including Denver Metro, Colorado Springs, Boulder, Northern Colorado and mountain towns.

Nanny Pay Rates & Duties

The average pay range for our live-out nannies is $25-$35 per hour with the majority in the $25-30/hr range. Our live-in nannies earn $23-30 per hour.

Hiring pay is negotiated with an hourly rate combined with guaranteed work hours. Most nannies accrue paid time off that can be used for sick, personal, and vacation time. Many families provide a health insurance stipend that is applied to the nanny’s own insurance policy. Health insurance stipends are tax-free for the nanny and family.

Standard nanny duties include childcare and anything else related to the children such as driving, clean-up, organizing etc. Family assistant duties can include: pet care, errands, cooking, grocery shopping, laundry etc. House manager duties can include: paying bills, managing staff, home care, auto care etc.

Colorado Nanny recruiters conduct face-to-face interviews and completes reference checks prior to sending candidates to meet our families. This ensures that the candidates we specifically match with our families have met our highest standards.

The Denver Broncos hired Colorado Nanny in 2015 to support a player/child initiative that would allow the football players to bring their children to the UCHealth Training Center to have breakfast with their dads and have fun getting to know other children from the team. After four seasons of care, Colorado Nanny has proven itself to be consistent in representing excellent nannies that are fun, interactive, reliable and safety oriented. Thanks Colorado Nanny for your ongoing support for the children of the Denver Broncos!

My husband and I are both physicians, and prior to our move to Colorado Springs about eight years ago, we contacted Colorado Nanny to be sure we would have a nanny/housekeeper already set up when we needed to start work, for our boys who were in the 3rd and 5th grades. Colorado Nanny found for us the most wonderful woman who stayed with us and became part of our family for the next seven years. We also used Colorado Nanny's temporary service if our nanny was not available on an occasional evening or weekend, or if our nanny was sick. Our children are now teenagers and although we really don't need a nanny anymore, we still need a lot of help around the house. Thanks to Colorado Nanny, we now have a spectacular house manager. So through the years, Colorado Nanny has managed to meet our changing needs, and has always come through for us! We have and will continue to recommend them highly to many friends and acquaintances.

As busy, working professionals, we enlisted the expertise of Colorado Nanny to help match us with the right nanny for our new baby girl. After six great years, our super nanny has become, in addition to our nanny, an extended family member (our daughter’s god mother) and an excellent house manager.

Thank you Jane and Colorado Nanny for taking the time to make sure you understood what our family's circumstances were so you could assist us in finding a nanny that could care for our infant daughter with special needs. Your efforts helped us find the perfect match for our family. Our nanny not only gives our daughter the TLC she needs but is actively engaged with our daughter's on-going therapies and associated "homework" which are key to helping our daughter reach her full potential. It's been a year since you helped us find our nanny and now we cannot imagine what we would do without her!
